The Philippine Embassy in London, in line with the celebration of the 83rd Labor Day and 34th Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Anniversary, facilitated a training on entrepreneurship and investment opportunities at the Building 10 of the embassy’s premises in Suffolk Street, London on the 28th day of May 2016.
It was attended by leaders and members of the Filipino community in the United Kingdom. Gracing the event were the following embassy officials under the Philippine Overseas Labor Office and OWWA: Labour Attaché Reydeluz Conferido, Welfare Officer Pat Cubbarubias, and Administrative Officer Virgilio “Don” Doroja Jr..
Also participating therein are ENFiD-UK Chairman Edwin Dela Cruz, Board of Trustees Renato Lucero and Janette Vicera, and former ENFiD-UK BOT/Officer, Maribel Favor. Cllr. Danilo Favor, a Filipino Councillor in the East Grinstead Town Council, West Sussex and Philippine Presidential Awardee made his presence felt as well.
The Training Speakers were Engr. Richmond Lagrito, Overseas Representative Officer of the Landbank’s Overseas Filipinos Remittance Group, and Mark Jason “MJ” Robles, Life/Business Coach at the The Pinoy Londoner & Co., London.
