A fundraising event for children with disabilities in the town of Paniqui, province of Tarlac was held by the Paniquinians UK Association as the main trust of its 5th Anniversary Celebration on June 4, 2016 at the Baden Powell Conference Hall, Queen’s Gate, London SW7 5JS.
It was highlighted by a Dinner and Dance party participated in by guests totaling 122, who came as individuals and members of their respective organisations. There were who came all the way from the Philippines like Paniqui Vice Mayor, Genevieve Linsao, who founded the Paniquinians UK Association, and Canan, Tarlac Barangay Captain, Yoly Wienwright.
Perla Torio, Paniquinians UK President, together with the other officers led the revelry and everybody had so much fun and excitement.
The following Filipino community members, leaders and organisations have been supportive of the Paniquinians’ causes: Batangas Association; Maniland Glamour; Knights and Ladies of Rizal; King College Professor, Mary Ann Lagmay; Alan Lagmay of HSBC; Mabuhay Foundation Association; Samareneos UK; FilMo; Fil 1 UK; Ilang-Ilang Association; Cam Sur Association; Hilvis UK; PESO; Fil Charity Association; Caviteños UK; and, FLAEC.
The officers and trustees of the European Network of Filipino Diaspora UK (ENFiD-UK) were also present like Edwin Dela Cruz, Maria Basford, Renato Lucero, and Ruby Ibalio.
